Chicago Bulls guard Zach LaVine will miss 3-4 weeks with what the team is calling “right foot inflammation.” LaVine had initially missed a week undergoing “active rest” to help deal with the injury.
With the trade winds surrounding the 2-time NBA All-Star becoming a maelstrom, the likelihood that Lavigne has suited up for the Bulls for the final time seems highly probable.
Prior to the injury Lavine was off to a slow start this season, averaging 21.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game on .443/.336/.866 splits. His percentages from 2-point and downtown are the least efficient LaVine has exhibited since his first season in the Windy City in 2017-18 and his 2014-15 rookie campaign.
